

Lisa Fowler, EdD, Vice President of Student Affairs
Dr. Fowler has served as Red Rocks’ vice president of student affairs since 2012. In this role, she leads the Division of Student Affairs at the college, which provides services and programs that support students from the time they apply to Red Rocks through their graduation. Previously, Dr. Fowler was the assistant vice president of enrollment management and student success at Georgia Perimeter College (GPC), a multi-campus, two-year college in Atlanta. There, she also held positions as dean of students for one of GPC’s campuses and director for disability services. Before her career in higher education, Dr. Fowler was a rehabilitation counselor for the Tennessee Division of Rehabilitation Services and an American Sign Language interpreter for the Tennessee Valley Authority.
Dr. Fowler holds an Executive Doctor of Education in higher education management from the University of Georgia, a Master of Science in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor of Science from Maryville College.

Bryan Bryant, Vice President of Administrative Services
Mr. Bryant joined Red Rocks as vice president for administrative services in 2017. He leads the team responsible for all financial functions of the college, handles contracts, and oversees administrative areas including facilities, legal, and information technology. Prior to Red Rocks, Mr. Bryant was the vice president of business and finance at Trinidad State College in the Colorado Community College System (CCCS). Before his time in CCCS, Mr. Bryant spent a decade in small business development and economic development, working at Otero County Economic Development and the La Junta Small Business Development Center—both on the campus of Otero College. He started his career with CIT Bank, a division of First Citizens Bank, before joining Security State Bank as assistant vice president. Mr. Byant serves on the Arvada Economic Development Association board and the Tri-County Workforce Development board.
Mr. Bryant holds a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Oklahoma State University.

Dr. Jen Macken, Executive Director of DEIB

Jennifer Matthews, MBA, Executive Director of Human Resources
Ms. Matthews joined Red Rocks as executive director of human resources (HR) in 2024. She advises college leadership on all HR-related programs and serves as the college’s chief compliance officer and Title IX, equal opportunity, and Americans with Disabilities Act coordinator. Ms. Matthews came to Red Rocks from Arapahoe Community College, where she was associate director of HR, and previously held succeeding HR positions at the Community College of Denver. Before joining the Colorado Community College System in 2013, Ms. Matthews worked in HR for Great Lakes Airlines and as an executive assistant manager for Walgreens. She is certified by the Society for Human Resource Management as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and the HR Certification Institute as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). A passionate advocate for education, Ms. Matthews serves on the board of directors for the Jeffco Schools Foundation.
Ms. Matthews holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in marketing and management from Colorado State University and a Master of Business Administration in human resource management from Colorado Technical University.
Erika Hollis, JD, MBA, Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff
Ms. Hollis joined Red Rocks as senior vice president and chief of staff in 2025. She supports the initiatives of the college’s president and oversees the areas of institutional research, marketing and communications, and grant development. Previously, Ms. Hollis served as chief of staff at Integrate, an enterprise software company. Her introduction to higher education was as outside counsel to Naropa University while with the law firm Jackson Kelly, where Ms. Hollis spent nine years. Thereafter, she was vice president and general counsel for Regis University and interim executive director for equal opportunity and Title IX at the University of Denver. Ms. Hollis has held several board positions, including serving as chair of the Colorado Academy Board of Trustees, board member of the Africa School Assistance Project, and board member and race chair of the Denver Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
Ms. Hollis holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Denver and both a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Iowa.
Jane Marsh, MA, Executive Director, Red Rocks Foundation
Ms. Marsh joined Red Rocks as executive director of the Foundation in 2025. She leads fundraising efforts for student scholarships and support for programs, faculty, and capital projects. Prior to Red Rocks, Ms. Marsh was the managing senior director of development for the College of Arts and Sciences and the Graduate School at the University of Colorado Boulder. She also spent 11 years at Craig Hospital Foundation—concluding her tenure as senior director of philanthropy and operations—and six years as a fundraising consultant for several Colorado nonprofits. Ms. Marsh started her career as a recruiter for Volunteers in Service to America and the associate director for the Colorado Association of Nonprofit Organizations. She has held board positions for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (Colorado chapter) and Domestic Violence Initiatives, and served as VP of fundraising for Amigos de la Academia Sandoval, a Denver Public School.
Ms. Marsh holds a Master of Nonprofit Management from Regis University, where she was a Colorado Trust Fellow, and a Bachelor of Arts in liberal studies and French from Emory University.
Chris Juarez, EdD, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Workforce Innovation
Dr. Juarez joined Red Rocks as vice president of academic affairs and workforce innovation in 2025. He leads efforts to advance the college’s credit and workforce programs that support the region’s economic growth and development. Dr. Juarez has been part of the Colorado Community College System (CCCS) since 2014 and was the dean of mathematics, sciences, and technology at Arapahoe Community College before Red Rocks. Previously, he held roles as program director of engineering, technology, and media arts at CCCS and associate dean for the school for professional studies and sciences and professor at the Community College of Aurora. Dr. Juarez started his higher education career as a math instructor at Garden City Community College, where he earned an associate degree. He’s a past treasurer of the Colorado Coalition for the Educational Advancement of Latinxs and a member of the inaugural class of Complete College America Fellows.
Dr. Juarez holds a Doctor of Education in higher education administration from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Science in statistics, Bachelor of Science in statistics, and Bachelor of Science in math from Kansas State University.
