Child Care Innovations was a department at Red Rocks Community College for more than 30 years, but the team is forming a new independent nonprofit and moving to a new location, allowing them to continue to expand their services and advocacy for early childhood care.

The new host location allows the Colorado Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to leverage an existing pillar of the Metro Denver community, expanding its ability to nurture small business growth.

On Monday, April 7, 2025, RRCC reopened the library, which has been closed for repairs since August 2024.

RRCC recently named Erika Hollis as senior vice president and chief of staff, Jane Marsh as executive director of the Red Rocks Foundation, and Chris Juarez as vice president of academic affairs and workforce innovation.
