Want to be on the radio? We Need Radio Hosts and Producers!

Students, Staff, Instructors! We want to hear from you! Come produce a show for our campus internet radio station here at Red Rocks. We’ll help you refine your focus and find the story you want to tell, and we’ll coach you on the basic technical skills you’ll need to make your radio show happen.

Pitch us your idea! We recommend first following the National Public Radio guide to creating a new podcast or radio show.

Submit your Pitch

Send your pitch to radio@rrcc.edu. Put “Show pitch” in the Subject line. We will be reviewing submissions on a monthly basis.

Your submission must include:

  • Your name(s)
  • Your email address(es)
  • Your phone number(s)
  • Your S number (s)
  • This completed paragraph:
[Title of your project] is a [format of your radio show] that provides [key benefit] for [target audience] who [have this need or opportunity]. Unlike [similar alternatives], our project [offers this advantage] to listeners.

Already produced a podcast (single or multiple episodes)?
