Grant Development

The Grant Development Office helps faculty and staff translate ideas that advance the mission of RRCC into fundable grant proposals.  The Grants Office provides various services to help faculty and staff plan for a grant submission, prepare and submit a competitive proposal, and provide support post-award.   

The Grant Development Office also helps faculty and staff identify when it is in the best interest of Red Rocks Community College to coordinate with the Red Rocks Community College Foundation to seek resources.

 Planning Services

  • Identify funding opportunities that match college needs
  • Contact Funders
  • Interpret Agency Regulations/Requirements
  • Provide Grant Development Training

 Preparation Services

  • Facilitate Planning Sessions
  • Coordinate/Write/Edit Institutional Proposals
  • Assist in Creating Project Budgets
  • Assist with the Institutional Review Board process, when applicable
  • Manage Internal Sign-off Process
  • Submit Proposals

 Pre-/post-Award Services

  • Coordinate Orientation and Training for Project Staff
  • Liaise with Program Officers
  • Assist with Reporting
  • Work with Grants Accounting staff to provide guidance and technical assistance to ensure compliance with the regulations of funding agencies
  • Liaise with Business Office, Human Resources, Institutional Research  as needed to kick-off project
