Career Assessments
Red Rocks, Arvada Campus offers individual appointments for:
- Myers-Briggs
- Strong Interest Inventory
- YouScience
Assessments are $20 each for students and alumni or $30 each for community members. Assessments are tools to discover more about who you are and assist you in making intelligent and insightful career choices. Career assessments also give you an opportunity to explore career and college major options.
Career Assessments Offered:
Myers-Briggs Personality Profile (also known as the MBTI): The Myers-Briggs looks at your personal preferences in four areas of your life:
- what gives you energy
- how you learn
- how you make decisions
- how you get things done
You will receive a career report on your psychological type with a list of careers based on your personality preferences. This report will list job families and specific careers based on your responses. The Myers-Briggs is the most widely utilized career assessment tool in use worldwide today. Millions of individuals have benefited from its results and it has been translated into 30 languages worldwide.
Strong Interest Inventory: The Strong measures your level of interests among a broad range of occupations and looks at how your interests relate to those who are satisfied in their careers. You will participate in an interpretive session to go over your results and receive an in-depth interpretive report.
YouScience: YouScience is a proven scientifically developed aptitude assessment that utilizes a holistic approach that measures natural abilities (what you do naturally well), specific interests (what you enjoy doing) and career opportunities (what the job market needs).
