EMT and AEMT Refresher Program
EMT and AEMT Refresher (EMS 1026)
The EMT Refresher course at Red Rocks Community College follows the National EMS Education Standards for recertification of an EMT or AEMT certificate. It is approved by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Completion of the course satisfies all requirements for recertification of a Colorado EMT or AEMT certificate, and the requirements for National Registry EMT or AEMT recertification.
Please visit with an EMS faculty member to discuss the renewal of an AEMT certificate as additional hours may be required.

Prerequisites
- One of the following is required
- Current, or less than 6 months expired, Colorado EMT/AEMT certification
- Current NREMT EMT/AEMT certification
- Proof of EMT/AEMT course completion within the last two years

- Bring proof of pre-requisites to the first day of class
