Law Enforcement Academy Degree & Certificate

Degree Program

Many law enforcement agencies currently require a college degree for employment. The Red Rocks Law Enforcement Academy meets and exceeds requirements set by the POST Board, giving the peace officer candidate an opportunity to earn 39 hours of college credit in one semester. Red Rocks offers an Associate of Applied Science in Law Enforcement or Associates of Arts in Criminal Justice with the completion of an additional 24 credit hours (AA-CJ credit requirements may be different). The Law Enforcement Academy has an articulation agreement with Regis University, and once you complete your AAS with us, you have the option to transfer to Regis for your Bachelor’s degree.
